Following in the footsteps of Accuray, GE HealthCare and Anandic Medical Systems, this new location confirms Genolier Innovation Hub 's attractiveness as a key player in medical innovation at the heart of Health Valley.
At the heart of the GIH,United Orthopedic is setting up its European showroom and training center, entirely dedicated to hip and knee implants. This new space will welcome surgeons, hospital teams and academic partners, and encourage the sharing of expertise around the most advanced joint replacement technologies.
With a presence in over 45 countries and more than 580,000 operations performed worldwide, United Orthopedic has chosen the Genolier Innovation Hub to manage its European operations and reinforce its proximity to the Swiss medical and scientific ecosystem. This choice underlines Switzerland's positioning as a benchmark Health Valley in the fields of orthopedics, medtech and life sciences.
The official inauguration took place on January 8, 2026, in the presence of François Bopp, President and Sophie Bopp, Head of Robotics EMEA, as well as Anna Gräbner, CEO of GIH.
With this new facility, the Genolier Innovation Hub is pursuing its mission of bringing together key players in medical innovation on a single site to accelerate the development of solutions for patients and healthcare professionals.
